Shiro Morimoto is a member of the Royal Guard, and former Captain of the 8th Division in the Gotei 13. Shiro's title as a Royal Guard member is "The Gale of the Crimson Demon" Shiro tribute to History in the Soul Society is "The Purifier", a tool used to completely purify those souls who have been infected by malicious diseases such as the Hollowfication.

INFO ABOUT "THE PURIFIER"
For those who didn't know nor read Shiro's history, Shiro used to be a Vizard, but during one of his ARCs where Shiro and Dyan got lost in the dangai, they landed in a weird place where the essences of the Spiritual Worlds live
You have the Hollow like essence, Purifying essence and then the Balanced essence known as Brother, Sister and Father. The sister, the essence of purity cured Shiro from his Hollowfication.

Later on, Shiro found traces of that purifying energy still flowing through his body. He extracted it and placed it inside a raggedy katana and called it the purifier. He isn't sure if the purifier works but he basically has the cure for any type of malicious diseases that affects the souls. The energy that was flowing in his body gave him the trait to heal his wounds faster, or stopped them to bleed out. this is one of the good side effects.Tho since now its extracted, i would say that good side effect is gone. Leaving it to just purifying the body. The bad side effect would be that anything else in the soul (ex: a Zanpakuto or Shinigami powers) will be gone. The purifier would be like a "Total Reset" button.

This is actually a really good concept character and i could totally see it as filler. Only thing keeping him from that potential is the "member of the Royal Guard" part, should be a former or something
